The ideal candidate must possess a Montessori Assistant Training certificate or prior experience in a Montessori environment. Responsibilities

  1. Help maintain a clean, sanitary, and aesthetically pleasing classroom.
  2. Ensure all classroom equipment is well-maintained and inspected for safety hazards.
  3. Assist in classroom setup, cleanup, and material preparation under the guidance of the classroom Guide.
  4. Attend all appropriate meetings, planning sessions, in-service days, and training sessions as outlined in the Staff Handbook.
  5. Participate in parent meetings, orientations, and school functions.
  6. Assist in inventorying needed equipment and supplies.
  7. Maintain a consistent attitude of loyalty and enthusiasm for the school and its policies.

Qualifications

  • Montessori Assistant Training certificate or relevant experience in a Montessori environment.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to the Montessori approach.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
