Job Position: MRI Tech Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 Position Type: Contract Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Terms: 13 to 26 Weeks Description: Birch Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients internal structures. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while working closely with radiologists and healthcare teams. Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images * Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures * Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers, claustrophobia) * Explain procedures to patients and address concerns * Administer contrast agents as prescribed * Monitor patients during imaging for safety and comfort * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and MRI safety protocols * Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation * Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions * Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostics Benefits: * 401 (k) with employer matching * Health, Dental, Vision Insurances * Short Term Disability * PTO * Weekly pay Required Qualifications * H.S.
