Responsibilities

• Develop and present engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and industry standards
• Teach both theoretical and practical aspects of manicuring, including nail care, nail art, manicure techniques, and salon sanitation
• Demonstrate proper techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices
• Provide hands-on supervision and mentorship during practical sessions and laboratory work
• Assess student progress through evaluations, exams, and projects, offering constructive feedback for continuous improvement
• Identify and support students who may need additional assistance in their learning journey
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and advancements to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and cutting-edge
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and lab environment
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance curriculum development and program improvements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Manicurist or Cosmetology License in good standing is required
• Current Instructor License is required
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a practicing manicurist
• Previous teaching or training experience, especially in a manicuring or cosmetology setting, is highly desirable
