Skills

• Experience working with customers to define requirements for Heterogeneous Network Environments (Cloud Computing Network & On-Premises)
• Routing and switching experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing technologies (AWS, GovCloud, C2S)
• Implementing automation best practices (Python/Ansible)
• Experience troubleshooting complex layer 2 and layer 3 issues
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA
• Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds

Responsibilities

• Assist in network architecture planning and technical tasks
• Support development of technical analyses, white papers, or research for network architecture
• Analyze network interoperability topologies, technologies, and protocols
• Design Cloud Computing Network stack for broad network access
• Design virtual networks as a service and for Cloud Optimized Storage
• Assist Sr. Architect as needed
• Comply with configuration management and change management documentation requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related fields
• Knowledge in telecommunications and Cloud Computing network architectures for Government applications
• Broad knowledge in network integration, interoperability, and protocols preferred

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network engineering
• Proven experience in designing and implementing network solutions
