Skills
- Experience working with customers to define requirements for Heterogeneous Network Environments (Cloud Computing Network & On-Premises)
- Routing and switching experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing technologies (AWS, GovCloud, C2S)
- Implementing automation best practices (Python/Ansible)
- Experience troubleshooting complex layer 2 and layer 3 issues
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA
- Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds
Responsibilities
- Assist in network architecture planning and technical tasks
- Support development of technical analyses, white papers, or research for network architecture
- Analyze network interoperability topologies, technologies, and protocols
- Design Cloud Computing Network stack for broad network access
- Design virtual networks as a service and for Cloud Optimized Storage
- Assist Sr. Architect as needed
- Comply with configuration management and change management documentation requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related fields
- Knowledge in telecommunications and Cloud Computing network architectures for Government applications
- Broad knowledge in network integration, interoperability, and protocols preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

- 5+ years of relevant experience in network engineering
- Proven experience in designing and implementing network solutions
