Skills

• Strong networking background with a solid understanding of network topology and schematics
• Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, and technologies like HTTP/S, SSH, and Telnet
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for networking issues, including routing, access, and firewall configurations
• Familiarity with tools such as nmap, tcpdump, and log analysis for packet/session analysis
• Understanding of network ACLs and load balancers, along with other enterprise technologies (WAF, network IDS/IPS)
• Strong command of Linux CLI
• Experience with tools used for threat detection based on packet analysis

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a multi-tenant environment, both cloud-based and on-premises, while collaborating with our ²⁴⁄₇ NOC/SOC operations
• Provide exceptional support to our managed customers, troubleshooting and resolving service-impacting issues promptly
• Apply requested changes, document processes, and modify the existing environment as needed
• Ensure adherence to network security best practices
• Troubleshoot network connections within our environment
• Deploy various systems for packet collection
• Collaborate with SOC and threat detection teams to analyze traffic flows and create effective detection strategies

• Strong networking background
• Solid understanding of network protocols and technologies
• Proficient troubleshooting skills

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Relevant certifications in networking or security are a plus
