Description
The RN residency program offers a structured schedule during the initial phase, typically Monday through Friday, consisting of 40 hours a week, with possible weekend shifts during the holiday season. The preceptorship will include three 12-hour shifts weekly, aligning with the preceptor’s timetable. Residents will achieve certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules while attending mandatory sessions throughout the program.
A commitment of at least two years is required for program acceptance, with a pro-rated repayment obligation for educational costs if this commitment is broken. A Professional Development Program will facilitate mentorship, integration into nursing culture, and various educational seminars.
