The New Patient Coordinator will be an essential member of our growing functional medicine team, serving as the first point of contact for prospective patients. In this role, you will guide them with clarity, warmth, and professionalism, helping them explore whether our care is the right fit for them.

You will play a pivotal role in new patient acquisition and onboarding coordination, ensuring that prospective patients feel heard, informed, and confident as they take their first steps toward working with our clinical team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients
  • Manage new patient outreach via various communication channels
  • Answer FAQs and explain our care approach and onboarding steps clearly
  • Guide prospective patients through scheduling and beginning their care
  • Conduct new patient onboarding visits, welcoming patients and addressing their questions
  • Prepare accurate charts for the clinical team to facilitate smooth transitions
  • Help ensure a smooth, supportive, and professional start to the patient journey

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or patient coordination role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in healthcare or a related field preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in patient coordination or a related field is an asset
  • Familiarity with healthcare onboarding processes is preferred
