We are seeking an Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track) in Data Science to join the Department of Mathematical Sciences. This position is contingent upon funding.

The successful candidate will have expertise and/or research interests in Data Science and will play a key role in supporting students and faculty in the field. Responsibilities

• Teaching load of 3-6 credits per semester, with a maximum of 9 credits per year
• Advising Data Science majors

• Designing and refining courses and curriculum for the Data Science program

Qualifications

• PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (awarded by the start date)
• Previous college-level teaching experience in mathematics, statistics, and/or Data Science preferred
• Experience working with health-related data preferred
