Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: \(90,000 - \)120,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• 5-7+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in nonprofit accounting, public accounting, or consulting is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
• Ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working remotely and in a hybrid setting
• CPA certification is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as an outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple nonprofit organizations
• Prepare financial reports to support management and board decision-making
• Provide guidance on accounting operations, internal controls, and compliance policies
• Manage transactional activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis
• Oversee grant management, allocations, and funder reporting
• Support annual audits by preparing financial statements and necessary documentation
• Train client staff on financial best practices

• 5-7+ years of accounting experience
