The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform and document quality nuclear medicine procedures (both invasive and noninvasive) for patients across all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients, in a timely manner as per physician orders. This role supports the supervisor and radiologist, contributing to an effective and efficient Nuclear Medicine department. The technologist will promote positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other employees, demonstrating teamwork to ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Training program
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire
  • National Provider BLS from American Heart Association upon hire

Education Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized Nuclear Medicine Training Program

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology

Experience Requirements

  • Preferred one (1) year of experience with cameras/computers from the same manufacturer as those used in our hospital
  • Experience with infant through adult nuclear medicine procedures
  • Experience with intravenous administration in pediatric patients is a plus.
