Responsibilities

  • Supervision and leadership of 4–5 nursing staff
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings and employee health evaluations
  • Provide care for work-related injuries and exposures
  • Perform fitness-for-duty and reasonable suspicion assessments
  • Administer vaccinations and health screenings
  • Manage workers’ compensation cases
  • Ensure health surveillance and regulatory compliance
  • Lead injury prevention initiatives and health promotion education
  • Balance roughly 40% clinical duties with 60% managerial and administrative responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts RN license with NP authorization
  • NP certification (ANCC or equivalent)
  • Valid MA & DEA prescriptive authority
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 3+ years of occupational health or adult medicine experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with Nurse Practitioner (NP) authorization

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health or adult medicine
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role in a clinical setting
