We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive care in our Essex Junction, VT clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for employee care, testing, treatment, and triage of injuries and illnesses. You will also handle follow-up care consistent with Workers’ Compensation while managing regulatory testing and employee medical surveillance.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly wage of $60-62/hour, including benefits and a sign-on bonus.
  • Flexible scheduling with 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week).

Skills

  • Current NP or PA license in Vermont with national certification.
  • Unrestricted DEA license.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Required BLS certification.
  • Strong background in employee care and occupational health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide employee care, treatment, and triage for injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct regulatory testing, including blood draws, EKGs, drug testing, and immunizations.
  • Manage follow-up care aligned with Workers’ Compensation.
  • Oversee employee medical surveillance.
  • Ensure accurate medical records management in the clinic.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of advanced practice experience.
  • Prior occupational health/medicine experience preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.

  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
