This full-time position involves providing in-home Occupational Therapy services to Agency patients as prescribed by the attending physician, and offering consultation to Agency staff and the attending physician as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Occupational Therapy assessments and develop treatment plans
• Guide patients and family members in therapeutic procedures
• Instruct on the use of orthotic or prosthetic equipment
• Conduct re-evaluations of patient progress
• Maintain clinical documentation and submit paperwork timely
• Report on patient treatment and progress to the physician
• Arrange for necessary outpatient services
• Provide consultation and instruction to home health team members
• Prepare reports for physicians and third-party payers
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience in Occupational Medicine (1+ years)
• Experience in Social Work (2+ years)
• Valid Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
• Certification in any of the following: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
