A leading multi-specialty ophthalmology group is seeking an Oculoplastic Surgeon to take over the patient volume of a current surgeon transitioning out of the practice. The new associate will have a full schedule of 3 days per week and will primarily receive referrals from high-volume anterior segment colleagues within the practice. As the practice expands, it will also be adding anterior segment surgeons, further enhancing the growth of the oculoplastics practice. This position offers both functional and cosmetic patients, with the practice located in an area that attracts cash-pay and cosmetic clientele. The new associate will have access to established in-office procedure rooms and the opportunity to grow their practice as desired, including performing surgeries at a nearby practice-owned surgery center.

Skills

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Completion of an Oculoplastic Fellowship
  • Strong clinical skills in both functional and cosmetic oculoplastic procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team

Responsibilities

  • Assume the patient volume of the transitioning surgeon
  • Provide high-quality care to functional and cosmetic patients

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Completion of an Oculoplastic Fellowship

Education Requirements

  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
  • Oculoplastic Fellowship completed or in progress

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)

Experience Requirements

  • Completion of Oculoplastic Fellowship is required
  • Experience in a multi-specialty practice is preferred
