The oncology nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, blood products, and infusion therapy, as well as providing comprehensive patient care. Duties include intravenous catheter care, medication administration, and assisting physicians during medical procedures. The nurse will perform venipuncture, therapeutic phlebotomy, and educate patients and families regarding disease processes and treatment expectations.
