We are an established online English school based in Shanghai, providing 1 on 1 IELTS lessons for test takers and English writing lessons for teenagers. Some of our teachers have been teaching with us for over ten years, a reflection of the supportive and respectful working environment we strive to maintain. We are currently looking for native English-speaking teachers from the US and UK to join our long-term teaching team. Why teachers enjoy working with us: 1. 1 on 1 lessons, 50 min per lesson 2. Stable students and predictable schedules: most students enroll in 48-lesson packages (though we have 24 and 10 lesson package options) and attend lessons weekly. We work around teacher’s availability when first assigning students, with occasional adjustments when necessary. This provides teachers with consistent schedules and long-term student relationships. 3. Payments made weekly: IELTS preparation lessons: per 50 min lesson $ 20 Writing lessons: per 50 min lesson $ 20 4. Teaching hours fall mainly between 6pm to 10pm China time and weekend mornings 5. Teachers may teach in our cloud conference or on platforms that they are comfortable with, like Teams or Zoom, etc. 6. Compensation policy: half a lesson compensation for cancellation within 24 hours. Requirements: 1. Native English speaker (American or British) 2. Bachelor’s degree or above 3. Teaching certificate (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent) 4. Years of teaching experience 5. Reliable computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection 6. Minimum 6 months commitment
