About Us: We are a premier and accredited Online Language School dedicated to providing high-quality education. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Korean Language Instructors to teach engaging online courses for high school and middle school students. Our students, aged 12 to 18, enroll in Korean courses to fulfill their high school World Language requirement. We offer a comprehensive curriculum, spanning Middle School and High School Levels 1-6+, including conversational and test/prep courses. Our Approach: Our teaching approach is aligned with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. We focus on Can-Do Statements and real-world communication contexts to guide our lessons. Our instructors have the creative freedom to design their own teaching materials, following a textbook-free curriculum. We embrace Project-Based Learning and assess students' progress through interactive assignments, rather than traditional quizzes or exams. Who We're Looking For: If you are a creative, student-centered instructor with experience in online teaching and a passion for teaching Korean as a World Language, you'll find a welcoming home with us. Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: Conducting one-on-one online lessons using Microsoft Teams. Assigning and reviewing homework assignments and projects. Tracking student grades and progress. Fostering student engagement and success. Demonstrating genuine respect for all students. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have: 1-2+ years of experience teaching Korean, whether online or in a school setting. Native-like language proficiency in Korean. A Bachelor’s Degree. Familiarity with technology, including Microsoft Office. Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. Preference will be given to applicants with curriculum development experience and an interest in contributing to curriculum expansion and improvement. Teachers may work under an international contract while residing outside the US or a US-based contract for those with legal permission to work in the US. Hourly rates will be determined based on teaching experience, education, and relevant qualifications.
