This role is crucial in providing business system analysis, solving business problems, optimizing processes, and implementing Oracle Cloud ERP solutions. Responsibilities: - Understand and document current business procedures, identifying areas for improvement. - Collaborate with internal departments and external resources to plan, design, and implement financial systems solutions. - Formulate and define system scope and objectives through comprehensive research. - Facilitate knowledge transfer of business requirements to application developers. - Make cogent arguments recommending courses of action based on thorough analysis. - Detect and address changes in business processes effectively. - Translate business needs into IT requirements and functional design specifications. - Foster trust and collaboration between Business and IT teams. - Assist in identifying and implementing various software solutions. - Provide application support for business users. - Write conversion, interface, reports, and extension functional design specifications. - Support data cleanup, conversion, and reconciliation activities. - Support month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation. - Review design specifications and provide feedback. - Write white papers and solution recommendations as needed. - Support testing and conduct training sessions. Education and Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years). - CPA Certification is Preferred. Experience: - 12+ years of Business Analyst experience. - 12+ Years of Software Development Lifecycle experience. - 12+ years of requirements gathering and documentation experience. - 12+ years of Microsoft Excel/Word/Visio/PowerPoint experience. - 12+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience. - 12+ years of experience working as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert/SME in Acquire to Retire Process Area. - 8+ years of experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation in Acquire to Retire Process Area. - Demonstrable expertise within the Oracle Cloud ERP suite, specifically in Oracle Fixed Assets, and a good understanding of Oracle Payables and/or Project Modules. - 8+ years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud Application. - 8+ Years' experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Acquire to Retire Process Area (Required). - Experience with Public Sector implementations (Highly Desirable).
