Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is \(48,000 to \)70,000 per year, based on industry standards and your experience.

Skills

• Telecom experience preferred
• Strong technical knowledge and skills
• Ability to write, hear, understand, and respond appropriately in English
• Knowledge of CAD and/or project management preferred
• Basic financial skills to assist in making sound business decisions
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering schematics

Responsibilities

• Design and develop outside plant equipment installation, modifications, and upgrades
• Support designs of line setup and staking specifications, and cable and line extensions
• Assist in planning, analysis, and recommendations for new construction of outside plant network structures
• Prepare state, local, and federal permit documentation
• Obtain right-of-way use approvals and acquire field data
• Responsible for all as-built changes and updates to drawings
• Conduct field verification of addresses and identify obstructions that may impede construction

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Some college preferred
• 1-year related experience
• Ability to travel between job sites and material depots and work varying hours based on project demands
• Experience with CenturyLink/Lumen is a plus
