The Medication Clinic operates as a vital resource within our women’s and children’s residential substance use disorder clinic. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing outpatient consumers and coordinating the medication clinic’s activities. This role requires a commitment to providing quality care, with responsibilities spanning medication education, documentation, and vital signs monitoring. You will work Tuesday to Friday for 30 hours weekly in a benefit-eligible position.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the medication clinic activities
  • Review medication education sheets with clients
  • Function as case manager for consumers requiring medication refills
  • Complete necessary documentation for consumer records
  • Administer IM medication and maintain logs of medications
  • Aid in completing prior authorizations and managing injections
  • Collect vital signs and coordinate prediabetes screenings
  • Follow regulations for the Opioid Treatment Program and necessary documentation
  • Dispense medications utilizing Addiction Management software

Qualifications

  • RN licensure required, must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
  • Change readiness and flexibility in approach
  • Demonstrated communication and conflict resolution skills

Education Requirements

  • High School/GED degree required
  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Nursing diploma or degree as required

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred but not explicitly stated
