Due to the critical service needs of the communities we serve, we are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus.* We are eager to continue providing quality and compassionate care in our service areas and need you to help make this happen! Join the remarkable Compass Health Nursing team if you are interested in an Outpatient Nursing position that includes running a Medication Clinic and acting as a case manager. Our nursing staff utilizes the Compass “Champion” behavior to best serve our clientele. In this role, you will actively communicate with the Clinical Doctor and Customer Relations Specialist to ensure our clients receive the best care. This position requires a Monday through Friday schedule with a rotating weekend schedule, if needed.

This is a PRN position. The candidate must be available to travel within the region to the clinic being covered.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the medication clinic
  • Be cross-trained to assist in other clinics and regions
  • Review medication education forms with clients
  • Complete all required documents regarding medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for EHR
  • Administer IM medication and maintain accurate logs
  • Assist with prior authorizations
  • Complete vital signs for every client and coordinate pre-diabetes screening when necessary

Qualifications

  • High School/GED degree required
  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • GPN, LPN, GN, or RN licensure required that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Nursing degree required for licensure

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in nursing or relevant clinical settings preferred
