Blue Jay Dental is seeking a part-time dentist to join our private practice in Goshen. The dentist will have the opportunity to establish a full caseload on Mondays and Tuesdays, with potential for additional days as desired. This position is ideal for someone looking to join an established practice with an existing patient base and a full schedule available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis of patients’ dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
• Assess patients’ dental status and arrange for appropriate consultations to determine necessary treatments.
• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatments to address the oral health needs of patients.
• Conduct routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments.
• Refer to dental specialists when appropriate.
• Manage administrative functions of the Dental Office.
• Supervise the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
• Must have NY license and DEA.
• Willingness to live and be part of the Goshen, NY community.
