Skills

• Valid teaching certification
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong belief in personalized learning and understanding that every student is unique
• Kind, organized, personable, and patient
• Familiarity with Google tools (email, calendars, documents, etc.)
• Comfortable learning new online systems and programs
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (remote work available from approved locations)
• Experience in non-traditional educational settings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly support and motivation for students
• Personalize learning opportunities and resources based on student needs
• Collaborate with parents through email, offering guidance and support
• Work with large and small groups of students, offering synchronous learning experiences
• Design and lead engaging lessons and activities for students
• Mentor students enrolled in specific courses and offer tutoring
• Identify at-risk students and work together to create intervention plans
• Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and support one another
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for student growth
