We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice part-time in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers a flexible schedule, working 1 day per week with the potential for increased hours in the future. Our physical medicine office utilizes natural regenerative cellular therapies to treat patients with acute and chronic pain and injuries. Responsibilities include joint and trigger point injections, and experience in this area, as well as orthopedic expertise and clinical exam skills, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $650 per day (depending on experience)
  • Bonus potential of up to an additional $150/day

Skills

  • Experience with joint and trigger point injections
  • Strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal examination skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient exams and consultations (orthopedic/musculoskeletal)
  • Evaluate clinical data and order appropriate tests/imaging
  • Diagnose and formulate treatment plans
  • Educate patients on diagnosis and treatment options
  • Consult with the Supervisory physician as necessary
  • Perform joint and trigger point injections (US guided)
  • Assist in directing the management of patient care

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program
  • Valid PA/NP license in Pennsylvania
  • Relevant experience with joint injections
  • Preferred background in Orthopedic, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Family medicine

  • Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program

  • Graduate degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner studies

Experience Requirements

  • Experience with joint injections is required
