Our part-time Merchandiser role requires an individual who can enhance the consumer buying experience by creating effective merchandising solutions in their assigned stores. The retail merchandiser’s duties include cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, and building retail displays. Skills

  • Ability to read and follow planograms
  • Experience assembling store fixtures and displays
  • Product placement merchandising experience (cosmetic experience is an asset)
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with a commitment to meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Set up store fixtures/displays efficiently and accurately by following provided planogram
  • Execute seasonal and/or department resets
  • Assist with new store renovations/relocations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with store management
  • Conduct product replenishment
  • Set up store media (coupons, booklets, pamphlets, etc.) in retail stores

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
  • 1 year of merchandising experience preferred
  • Strong ability to follow instructions and assemble displays
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
