We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Floor Technician to support our on-site pharmacists in preparing prescription orders for facilities. This role is vital in maintaining pharmacy standards, implementing policies, and achieving objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
  • Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store as needed
  • Manually package materials and products
  • Pull and/or pick medication from storage areas
  • Apply labels to medication packaging and scan products for accuracy check
  • Alert pharmacist on duty of any scanning issues with medication/products
  • Maintain workstation areas and replenish stock supplies as needed
  • Adhere to all applicable government regulations including HIPAA

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Pharmacy experience preferred
  • 1 year or more of long-term care or retail pharmacy experience preferred
