Skills

  • HEDIS/STARs experience preferred
  • Knowledge of pharmacy/medical terms
  • National Certification as Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) required
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills
  • Technical proficiency in PC-based software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, other internal systems)
  • Excellent written and oral telephonic communication skills
  • Knowledge of hypertension and diabetes treatment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with moderate supervision
  • Timely review of updates to drug information and drug lists
  • Complete various projects accurately and on time as assigned by management
  • Implement processes for communication distribution to members and providers
  • Provide clerical support to other departmental members as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy
  • Strong clinical drug therapy knowledge
