Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with CampusVue is a plus
• Ability to engage and inspire students through varied teaching methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and clinical education

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures in assigned PTA courses
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to enhance learning
• Provide timely feedback and assessment to support student success
• Foster critical thinking and communication skills through engaging assignments and discussions
• Oversee clinical course placement, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and program objectives
• Establish and maintain relationships with clinical site partners to foster long-term partnerships
• Coordinate clinical orientations for students and site supervisors
• Monitor student attendance and engagement during clinical courses
• Collect and analyze clinical course feedback to enhance program quality and student outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant program (Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred)
• Minimum three (3) years of full-time post-licensure clinical practice
• At least two (2) years of experience as a Clinical Instructor (CI) or Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE) OR two (2) years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and administration in a PTA or PT program

Education Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy or related field required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of full-time post-licensure clinical practice
• At least two (2) years of teaching or clinical coordination experience
