Skills

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Understanding of basic mechanical engineering concepts
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Preferred: Experience with Hexagon / Intergraph SmartPlant tools
  • Preferred: Familiarity with global engineering organizations and interactions
  • Preferred: EIT certification

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of piping material engineering projects under supervision
  • Prepare projects using internal standards and industry practices
  • Develop and apply piping material classes based on product requirements
  • Specify insulation, paint, and protective coatings on P&IDs
  • Select and specify manual valves and specialty piping items
  • Prepare pressure test diagrams and specifications
  • Collaborate with teams to produce comprehensive design packages and ensure smooth handovers to construction
  • Adhere to safety standards related to Mechanical Systems
  • Participate in site inspections and field support

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in piping engineering or related field
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
