The City of Warrenton is currently hiring for Police Officer positions. Compensation and Benefits

  • Monthly salary: \(5,025.10 to \)6,573.79
  • Additional compensation: Up to $300/month certification pay, longevity pay up to 4%, and overtime eligibility

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • High school diploma or GED; college credits or degree preferred
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license (must obtain within one year of hire)
  • No felony convictions or pattern of misdemeanor convictions related to violence, substance abuse, or domestic violence

Experience Requirements

  • No prior law enforcement experience required, but candidates must complete the Frontline National test and hold a valid ORPAT score.
