The Principal SiC Product Engineer will play a crucial role in the Wide Bandgap product line, facilitating the successful transition of Silicon Carbide (SiC) products from initial realization to stable volume manufacturing. This deeply technical position will serve as a liaison between internal product and manufacturing teams and external SiC foundry and material suppliers.

  • Collaborate with product engineering on high reliability SiC testing procedures
  • Work with application engineering to drive datasheet, application, and reliability testing strategies

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
  • 5-10+ years of experience in SiC/GaN device or product engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor qualification standards (JEDEC, AEC-Q101)
  • Familiarity with power semiconductor testing and assembly processes
  • Previous experience with foundry operations

Education Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product engineering for SiC or GaN devices
