Skills
- 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in conservatorship, probate, trust administration, or estate planning
- Strong understanding of California legal procedures, court filings, deadlines, and legal terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong document management and calendar management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and adaptable to legal practice management systems
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, petitions, notices, and related case materials
- Support conservatorship and probate matters with document preparation and case management
- Organize and maintain physical and digital case files accurately
- Track deadlines and manage calendars for timely follow-up on case-related tasks
- Prepare and coordinate court filings and communicate with court personnel
- Assist with discovery and litigation support tasks as needed
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and involved parties
Qualifications
- 2+ years of paralegal experience in relevant fields
- California conservatorship and probate experience strongly preferred
- Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy law office
Education Requirements
- Paralegal certificate, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Paralegal certificate or degree in a related field is preferred

Salary: $30.00 - 40.00 Per Hour
Education Level: Associate's degree
Experience: • 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in conservatorship, probate, trust administration, estate planning, or estate litigation
• California conservatorship experience strongly preferred
• California probate experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of California legal procedures, court filings, deadlines, and legal terminology
Qualifications: • Paralegal certificate, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities: • Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, petitions, notices, discovery, correspondence, and related case materials
• Support conservatorship matters along with some probate and Trust court matters, including document preparation, court filings, deadline tracking, and ongoing case management
• Organize and maintain physical and digital case files with accuracy and attention to detail
• Track deadlines, manage calendars, and ensure timely follow-up on case-related tasks
• Prepare and coordinate court filings and communicate with court personnel as needed
• Assist with discovery, deposition preparation, hearing preparation, and litigation support tasks depending on experience in these areas.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, families, courts, witnesses, and other involved parties
• Provide substantive day-to-day paralegal support to attorneys across various phases of each matter
