Skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks (minimum two years’ experience required)
• CNC experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Architectural Millwork, Custom Store Fixtures, Retail Fixtures, and/or Commercial Cabinetry/Millwork (minimum two years’ experience required)
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager and Project Engineer on project design, materials, and engineering requirements, recommending value-engineered solutions
• Prepare drawings for all products and purchased items as needed
• Produce cutting bills and CNC programming for all required parts
• Prepare work orders, stock requisitions for purchasing, and bills of materials for the ERP system
• Coordinate closely with the shop regarding product manufacturing
• Update all drawings used in product development, construction, and installation as necessary
• Investigate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) from the shop, resolving appropriate issues and thoroughly updating the system
• Complete additional assignments as requested by management

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience with Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks required
• Minimum two years’ experience with Architectural Millwork, Custom Store Fixtures, Retail Fixtures, and/or Commercial Cabinetry/Millwork
• Continuous learning attitude; self-starter
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred but not specified
