Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of programs, from proposal development to execution and delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, sponsors, and stakeholders
  • Prepare and oversee program budgets, business plans, and performance metrics
  • Support contract negotiations and work closely with procurement, business development, and compliance teams
  • Ensure effective resource allocation across various project portfolios
  • Lead the development of new warhead concepts from design through testing and production
  • Plan, coordinate, and directly manage projects from start to finish
  • Provide technical and logistical support to customers
  • Track and manage project risks, timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure quality and successful completion
  • Oversee warhead production and final assembly processes
  • Identify new R&D opportunities aligned with the company’s capabilities and strategic goals
  • Support business development strategies and contribute to the growth of the organization

Qualifications

  • U.S. government security clearance eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in progressively responsible engineering or scientific roles
  • 5+ years of experience in a government contracting environment
  • Experience developing new technologies and generating intellectual property through R&D
  • DoD warhead development and/or manufacturing experience

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering or scientific roles
  • 5+ years of experience in a government contracting environment, including compliance with related regulations
