Description

The RN for PCU (Progressive Care Unit) will provide bedside care to patients with a variety of chronic health conditions or those recovering from surgeries. This role involves monitoring critical vital signs, detecting changes, and performing necessary interventions for acutely ill patients. The RN will oversee patients who do not require intensive care but need constant observation and monitoring, ensuring patient safety, pain management, and education in the post-surgical phase.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients in the PCU unit

Qualifications

• Current NY RN License or proof of application with date
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
