We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Control Administrator with proven leadership skills and a dedicated work ethic, looking for a successful career and the opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding, well-established heavy civil infrastructure company in Connecticut. As a Project Quality Control Administrator, you will lead the overall management and successful, timely delivery of complex heavy-civil, highway, and bridge projects from pre-construction through project execution and completion. This is a full-time position based in our Plantsville office in Connecticut. Please note that there is no remote option available.

Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of construction industry practices and standards
  • Experience with supervision, estimating, scheduling, budget preparation, and project status reporting
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management software systems
  • Ability to lead complex construction quality control initiatives
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and US citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality control management for heavy-civil, highway, and bridge projects
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to project specifications and standards
  • Supervise project quality control staff and activities
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders throughout project phases
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and certifications

Qualifications

  • Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and relevant experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of documented experience in a construction quality control management role, or at least eight (8) years with Professional Engineer licensure
  • Heavy civil construction experience preferred
  • Currently possess or can obtain NETTCP Quality Assurance Technologist and USACE Construction Quality Manager Certification

Education Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Engineering or Construction Management degree or equivalent relevant experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction quality control management, or eight (8) years with Professional Engineer licensure
  • Proven experience in heavy civil construction projects
