Compensation and Benefits
Our starting salary is between \(59,059.65 and \)90,000 annually (or \(29.31 to \)44.67 hourly), with the potential for an annual incentive of up to 15% of your base salary. Compensation is determined by skills and experience, and we offer a generous benefits package.

Skills

• Experience in property claims, particularly in the role of a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist.
  
• In-depth knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage, and claim handling processes.
  
• Familiarity with residential and commercial building construction.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in difficult or emotional situations.
  
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to assess damage, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements.
  
• Proficiency in claims management software and relevant tools.
  
• Physical ability to inspect properties, including frequent lifting, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
  
• A valid driver’s license is required.
  

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections and damage assessments for both residential and commercial property claims.
  
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve claims effectively.
  
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns throughout the claims process.
  
• Collect evidence, document findings, and create detailed reports to support the claims handling process.
  
• Handle personal and commercial property claims, including those with exposures up to $500,000.
  
• Evaluate claims based on policy coverage and local regulations, ensuring claims are valid and compliant.
  
• Negotiate settlements within authorized limits while considering policy provisions and industry standards.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  
• Experience handling high-value or complex claims is a plus.
  
• Construction background or water mitigation inspection experience is beneficial.
  
• Familiarity with Xactimate or XactContents software is preferred.
