TeamHealth offers an exciting opportunity for a psychiatric nurse practitioner to become a valued member of our behavioral health team in the Robbinsville, Andrews, and Franklin regions of North Carolina. Our post-acute care team provides integrated medical and behavioral healthcare primarily to geriatric patients across more than 2,000 post-acute facilities nationwide. We are looking for a board-certified or eligible psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric care to geriatric patients in post-acute facilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or eligible psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
  • Relevant experience in psychiatric care preferred

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
