Under the guidance of the Parks and Recreation Supervisor and Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supervising program participants and assisting Parks and Recreation Aides. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with the community by leading daily program activities

  • Manage opening and closing procedures for facilities
  • Take daily attendance of participants and assist in maintaining a clean program area
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Recreation Supervisor
  • Educate participants on safety principles and techniques

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; college enrollment in relevant fields preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in recreation or a related field preferred
  • First Aid/CPR and AED certification (training will be provided)
