The Regional Manager for Affordable Housing will oversee the daily operations of a portfolio specializing in affordable housing properties, including HUD and LIHTC. This role involves supervising and directing a team of Property Managers, leading, mentoring, coaching, and training them to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards and compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties
  • Supervise and direct a team of Property Managers

  • Develop strategic plans for optimizing performance and achieving maximum occupancy
  • Regularly visit and inspect properties within the portfolio
  • Oversee rent collections and maintenance of occupancy levels

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Regional Manager in affordable housing
  • Proven track record in supervising Property Managers
  • Strong background in compliance issues, inspections, and re-certifications
  • Familiarity with local and federal housing legislation
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to manage changing priorities

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years in regional management within affordable housing
  • Experience in overseeing multiple properties and teams
