Skills

• 10+ years of progressive experience in property management
• 5+ years in a regional leadership role overseeing a portfolio of 1200+ units
• Expertise in third-party fee management and market-rate or affordable housing operations
• Proficient in property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance, marketing strategies, and capital project management
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property visits
• Willingness to travel within the region

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of properties, including tenant relations, occupancy, maintenance, and compliance
• Monitor and manage property financial performance, proactively addressing variances
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define regional goals and develop annual operating budgets
• Recruit, coach, and mentor property teams to build high-performing staff
• Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure properties meet company standards
• Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and professionalism
