Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes

  • Perform physical exams and health histories
  • Provide health promotions, counseling, and education

  • Supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals
  • Make patient care assignments based on skill level
  • Recognize and react to adverse signs in emergencies
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse groups
  • Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in nursing post-graduation
  • Minimum of 36 months total nursing experience in a clinical setting
  • Current, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university recognized by ACEN or CCNE

Experience Requirements

  • At least one year of nursing experience as outlined in the job description
