Responsibilities

• Assist with the performance of surgical procedures under direct supervision of a surgeon
• Position, prep, and drape patients in accordance with established protocols

• Assist in endoscopic or open procedures specific to assigned surgical service
• Perform chest tube insertions and manage wound closures
• Participate in emergency procedures and patient resuscitation as required
• Fulfill duties related to robotic procedures after completing training

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) preferred
• Completed specialized training for robotic procedures is advantageous

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
