Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. This role will provide a technically exciting environment where you will support internal and external customers nationwide. As a Surveyor, you’ll contribute to improving the quality of care in healthcare facilities, and gain valuable experience while working in a 100% remote capacity with up to 75% travel.

• Salary range of \(75,000 - \)90,000 per year

Skills

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
• Independent decision-making skills to manage the survey process
• Strong prioritization skills
• Ability to discuss conflicts openly and seek assistance when needed
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities
• Prepare for surveys through off-site preparation and facility tours
• Evaluate quality of care and consumer rights
• Communicate non-compliance issues with key personnel during site reviews
• Determine the acceptability of plans of correction
• Conduct follow-up visits to ascertain implementation of corrective actions
• Assist with facility and bureau training and participate in work groups as needed

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor in long-term care facilities
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities independently
