Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to fill an opening with a Quality Improvement Consulting Company. Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with federal regulations
• Prepare for surveys through off-site preparation, facility tours, observation of care, and record reviews
• Evaluate the quality of care, consumer rights, and facility conditions
• Communicate non-compliance issues clearly during site reviews and exit conferences
• Determine the acceptability of plans of correction and conduct follow-up visits
• Assist with facility and bureau training and participate in work groups as needed

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Successfully completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
• At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor in long-term care
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
