Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: \(75,000 - \)90,000 / year
  
• Full-time position (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member or leader in various types of surveys for long-term care and non-long-term care facilities
  
• Conduct on-site surveys to assess compliance with federal regulations
  
• Prepare for surveys through off-site preparations, tours, and record reviews
  
• Evaluate the quality of care and compliance with consumer rights
  
• Communicate non-compliance issues and determine acceptable plans of correction
  
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the implementation of corrective actions
  
• Assist with facility and bureau training as needed
  

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  
• Successfully completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the SMQT
  
• At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor for long-term care facilities
  
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  
• Strong independent decision-making skills
