Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment during surgical procedures
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of surgical instruments and supplies
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to changes

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or eligible to obtain
  • Previous experience in an operating room setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols
  • BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Nursing degree from an accredited program

Experience Requirements

  • Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
  • Experience working in surgical services or operating room environment is a plus
