We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team in an Acute Care Hospital Setting. The RRT will perform all respiratory care related duties, including setting up and administering routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. The successful candidate will be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all respiratory care related duties under general supervision.
  • Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
  • Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
  • Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer system for the therapy provided.

Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) only.
  • Any experience is acceptable.
  • Florida License is preferred or willing to obtain it.

Education Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required.

Experience Requirements

  • Open to all levels of experience, including new graduates.
