Financial Accountant - Remote Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting entries for assets, liabilities, and equity by gathering and analyzing relevant account data.
• Accurately record financial transactions to document account information.
• Compile financial summaries by collecting data and generating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and additional reports.
• Assist in the formation of monthly financial statements along with essential footnotes.
• Audit documents to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Uphold accounting controls by developing and suggesting policies and procedures.
• Address financial discrepancies through thorough account analysis.
• Foster and maintain productive working relationships with remote team members and external accountants.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Peachtree or equivalent accounting software.
• Keen attention to detail and a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities and effective time management skills.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• A CPA license is desirable but not essential.
