Skills

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
• Unrestricted, independent medical license
• Active DEA license
• Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
• Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups
• Expertise in treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in ²⁴⁄₇ settings
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and provide culturally competent care
• Experience working with multiple EMRs simultaneously
• Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented, and inclusive mindset
• Passion for delivering high-quality behavioral healthcare through technology

Responsibilities

• Provide measurement-based, culturally sensitive episodic care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states, all from the comfort of your home
• Evaluate and treat patients in emergency departments, hospital medical floors, and crisis stabilization units
• Work alongside onsite professionals to determine appropriate patient dispositions and deliver evidence-based care
• Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication to address mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
• Utilize a collaborative care approach within partner healthcare treatment teams
• Help provide mental health care to those that need it most

Qualifications

• Proven experience in providing psychiatric care
• Strong communication and cultural competency skills
• Ability to adapt to various clinical settings and work collaboratively with a team

Education Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Residency training in Psychiatry
